Quick Answer
Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup technique that deposits soft pigment across the lips to even out tone, gently define the lip border and add a natural wash of colour that looks like your everyday lip tint, without daily reapplication.

About the technique
Lip blush works by depositing pigment across the lip to correct uneven tone, soften the vermillion border and add a believable colour flush. Sandra matches pigment to your natural undertone during consultation rather than working from a fixed shade chart, so the healed result reads as your lips, just more defined and evenly toned, not a solid block of colour.

Patch Test
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first semi-permanent makeup appointment with Sandra.
This treatment is only available to clients aged 18+.

Aftercare
Keep the treated area dry for 7 to 10 days, apply the aftercare balm as directed, avoid makeup, sun exposure and swimming until fully healed, and do not pick any flaking skin.
Touch-Ups and Longevity
Semi-permanent makeup fades gradually over 12 to 18 months depending on skin type and lifestyle. A colour refresh is recommended annually to maintain the result. This is semi-permanent, never permanent.
Frequently Asked Questions
Most clients describe the sensation as mild scratching or pressure rather than sharp pain. Sandra applies a topical numbing cream before and during the procedure, and most people find it far more comfortable than they expect.
